International Venture Academy is here again. Are you running a start-up or a scale-up company in the field of digital health and well-being? Would you like to enter new markets and build your investment readiness? Or would you need angel funding to take your business to a new level?

International Venture Academy is a programme for companies looking for international growth and investments. The programme organized by Business Jyväskylä, FiBAN and EBAN will run for the 3rd time this year. During the programme, companies will engage with European angel investors in a group as well as personal sparring sessions to sharpen their own growth plan, products or services and network in international markets.

Focus on the Smart Health & Wellbeing companies

This year the academy includes a 4-day Bootcamp live in Jyväskylä, Finland that will strengthen your go-to-market plan, financing, and blue-ocean strategy as well as develop a killer pitch for your company. The Bootcamp coaching days are leading to the academy’s finals pitching contest. The top companies of the contest will be selected to pitch for European Business Angels. The International Venture Academy 2022 programme is mainly focused on businesses in the field of Smart Health & Wellbeing.

Join the launch webinar and learn more about the programme 

The International Venture Academy 2022 launch webinar will be held on March 31, 2022 4-5 pm online.

At the launch webinar, you will hear more about the programme, learn how you can build your investment readiness and meet with the angels running the programme. You will also hear the experiences from IVA Alumni 2021 Nursie Health CEO Suvi Venäläinen, who participated in last year’s programme. The event language is English

Apply for the International Venture Academy programme

The application period for the programme is open until the end of April. From the applicants, max. 12 companies will be selected to participate in the actual programme.

The programme is free of charge for participants, but it requires a strong commitment to attend to an intensive week of mentoring in the Bootcamp in Jyväskylä and effort for the following months. Bootcamp will be held in Jyväskylä on 7th-10th of June.

International Venture Academy is organized by Business Jyväskylä and HHub together with FiBAN & EBAN. 


The programme is funded by ERDF funding in accordance with the ecosystem agreement signed between the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the City of Jyväskylä.
